After a video data list has been received, an I/O node 121 starts the processing of moving the video data from a disk device 140, which is the video data storage disk to the disk device 150, a disk dedicated to the rearrangement processing. After the video data have been copied to the disk device 150, the I/O node 121 switches the disk device 150 to the video data storage disk. At the same time, a node 120 is informed of the changeover instruction to the disk dedicated to the rearrangement processing of the disk device 140. Thus, the rearrangement processing of the video data is realized, without interrupting the real time signal distribution of the video data.
