Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the video signal reproduction device having a synchronizing signal generator adding a synchronizing signal waveform to a video signal with digital data.
CONSTITUTION: In the video signal reproduction device provided with a synchronizing signal generating means and a synchronizing signal addition means in order to add a synchronizing signal to a video signal reproduced from a tape, level data of a tilt part of a tri-state synchronizing signal of a 1125/60HDTV are stored in a prescribed address of a ROM 19 whose capacity is small. Outputs of vertical and horizontal counters 13,14 are inputted to a timing control circuit 17 to generate a reset signal for the counter 18, a counter enable signal and a clock enable signal from a register 20 storing a fixed level of a synchronizing signal. The counter enable signal allows the counter 18 to count an output of the circuit 17 for the tilt part period and an address of the ROM 19 is generated by stopping the counter 18 for a period latched by data of the same level in the synchronizing signal to generate an address of the ROM 19.
