Title:
VIDEO SIGNAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3214671
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To project the video signals of a TV camera or the like with an on-market TV receiver without using any video signal input terminal for the TV receiver by transmitting the video signals by TV signals.
CONSTITUTION: A coaxial cable 2 transmits TV signals received by an antenna 1 for broadcasting reception through a brancher 3 to a TV receiver 4 on the market. An idle channel search circuit 11 in a head end 3 searches any idle channel from the TV signals on the coaxial cable 2 and, based on these retrieved data, a CPU 14 decides the idle channel to be used. A modulation circuit 13 modulates video signals from a TV camera 6 at a slave equipment 8a of a doorphone at the carrier frequency of the decided idle channel and transmits the video signals through a mixer circuit 15 onto the coaxial cable 2. The TV receiver 4 switches the receiving channel based on the idle channel information from the head end 3.
