To reduce deterioration in video frame by reducing missing video frames to the utmost at transfer of video signals.
A field separate section 10 separates video frames of digital video signals received by a video interface card 6 into odd number fields and even number fields. A bus control section 11 transfers the video frames to areas A-a, b of specific sub addresses of odd number fields and even number fields of a main memory 2 for each field information and stores the video frames to them. A CPU 1 copies video frames newly stored in the areas A-a, b to an area B of the main memory 2 as one video frame consisting of odd number field information and even number field information. A bus control section 14 of the network interface card 7 transfers the video frames in the area M of the main memory 2 to a network. Even when missing video frames take place through this processing, video signals of 2/3 at maximum can be transferred.
