Abstract:
To provide a virtual assistant configured to recommend actions to facilitate an existing conversation.SOLUTION: Described is a system that determines, based on information relevant to a user of a computing device, an event for initiating an interaction between the user and an assistant running on the computing device. The system selects, based on the event, at least one action relevant to the event from multiple actions to be performed by the assistant. The system determines, based on the at least one action, whether to output a notification of the event including indication of the event and a request to perform the at least one action associated with the event. In response to determining to output the notification of the event, the system transmits, to the assistant, the notification of the event for output during the interaction between the user and the assistant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
