CONSTITUTION: A housing case 9a formed in an approximately trapezoid, and provided with an openable cover 6a being openable rearward about a hinge 81a through the operation of an open/close driving part 8a is mounted between the bottom outer side S1 of a load-carrying platform S and a bumper 4. A television camera 2 with a lens 21 turned obliquely down is attached to a front wall 92a, at the front side of the car body, of the housing case 9a, and further, a reflecing plane mirror 3 is located at a lower wall 93a in a condition to point to the television camera 2 situated obliquely above. A convex objective 1 is positioned approximately in parallel to the load-carrying platform S so that a rear visual range can be projected on a television receiver in a driver's cab with the openable cover 6a opened. Usually, through the operation the open/close driving device 8a, the openable cover 6a is closed to house the convex objective 1 in the housing case 9a, so as to prevent the device from being soiled and damaged during a running time.
