Title:
VOICE CODING DEVICE AND VOICE DECODING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3183826
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transmission characteristic by providing an audible sense weighting filter and a reflection coefficient discrimination means so as to use the filter when the reflection coefficient is at the outside of a specified range and not using the filter when the reflection coefficient is within the specified range.
SOLUTION: A reflection coefficient discrimination section 17 receiving a reflection coefficient calculated by an audible sense weighting filter adaptive device 7 provides an output of '1' when the reflection coefficient is within a specified range and provides an output of '0' when the reflection coefficient is at the outside of the range so as to allow usual filter operation. A switch control section A18 monitors a signal on a signal line 101 and sends a control signal with a content of denoting that a switch 19 selects a signal not passing through an audible sense weighting filter 8 to a signal line 102 when the signal is '1' and sends the control signal with a content of denoting that the switch 19 selects a signal passing through the audible sense weighting filter 8 to the signal line 102 when the signal is '0'. The switch 19 selects any signal under this control. Thus, even in the case of reception of a DTMF signal not a voice signal, production of distortion is prevented.
