PURPOSE: To handle sound information in the same way as characters and graphic forms and to allow transfer by encoding sound and voice so that they will be able to reproduce and recording the code on ordinary paper by the format which is possible to be read optically.
CONSTITUTION: An input voice 1, which is an analog signal from a voice input device, is converted to a digital signal by an analog/digital converter 2. A coder 3 compresses the information by utilizing the voice information processing technique, and obtains the code string which is compressed in correspondence to the input voice 1 as the output. The code string is digital information, and is converted to the unidimensional string "0" and "1" easily. A printer 4 records the code string which corresponds to the series of "0" and "1" obtained in this way on the ordinary paper, and obtains a recording result 5. The voice information which is recorded on the ordinary paper can be transferred easily by utilizing an optical means such as a copying machine and a blue printer.
