Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the voltage converting circuit with an incorporated LSI which is widely applied and supply optimum electric power to the LSI circuit.
SOLUTION: When the constitution of an external circuit 2 is altered, an external circuit detection part 4 detects its constitution and a transistor control part 5 switches the control method for a transistor 1 to supply electric power in three kinds of way such as switching regulator operation, series regulator operation, and another-power-source operation. Further, the transistor 1 is controlled according to a delay time measured by a delay time measurement part 3 built in the LSI 91 to perform conversion into the best voltage for the LSI 91.
