To provide a voltage-regulating method of a distribution line that can properly and quickly regulate voltage.
In the voltage-regulating method of the distribution line, voltage regulation is performed by an SVR (step-type automatic voltage regulator) for both cases where a tidal current direction is the forward direction and that the tidal current direction is the reverse direction. By referring to L0, since tap switching is not performed in the reverse tidal current in a conventional SVR, a voltage is raised to approx. 7,200 V in the vicinity of a power plant 2 and exceeds a voltage control range; whereas, by referring to an L1 to L4, when the voltage regulation by the SVR is performed, even at the reverse tidal current, the distribution line voltage lies within a range of approx. 6,450 V to approx. 6,750 V. Accordingly, the proper voltage regulation becomes possible, as compared with the prior art, where voltage regulation has not been performed by the SVR at the reverse tidal current.
