Abstract:
To provide a volume recognition system capable of avoiding destruction of a volume or a file due to erroneous definition when the volume is shared between a general computer and an open system.
Volume destruction due to the erroneous definition is prevented by recording all pieces of shared volume information in a volume management table of the general computer and using only the shared volume coincident with the volume management table by comparison when the shared volume is used on the side of the open system.
