The waist region traction implement consists of a means of pressing the thigh erected vertically to the abdomen as the knee is bent and a means of receiving the reaction force. The implement also comprises one left-right symmetrical flat-plane-shaped thigh pad to be applied to two regions of the thigh at the same time, a slender rod whose one end is connected to the center of the thigh pad, a pressure generating device for applying axial force to the rod using a ratchet mechanism and a compression spring, a frame for supporting the pressure generating device on the opposite side from the rod, and armpit supports connected to the frame to be clasped under two armpits of the user.
