PURPOSE: To obtain a versatile-used traveling machine which can be easily handled in a simple manner by an old person or a physically handicapped person by installing a power part, seat, steering wheel, traveling control part, accelerator, and a brake, on a machine body having a plurality of leg bodies in the longitudinal direction on the left and right sides, permitting the joint bending, longitudinal movement, and the stepping up for the grounded surface.

CONSTITUTION: Left and right leg bodies 2 in pair are suspended at four places or more in the longitudinal direction at the bottom part of a machine body 1. The leg body 2 is made bendable at a joint 3 and is installed so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction and in a stepping-up enabled form for a grounded surface. Traveling is performed by controlling the leg body 2 by a traveling control part. A driving part 4 for the leg part 2, seat part 6, and a steering wheel 7 are installed on the machine body 1. The movable direction to the front side of the front side leg body 2 is set to the turning direction by the turning operation of the steering wheel 7 by an operator 5 who takes a seat on the seat part 6. Further, an accelerator part 8 and a brake part 9 are installed in the vicinity of the steering wheel 7.
