The walking stick or umbrella is provided with a shaft body formed of a long structural member, and the grip part connected to one end of the shaft body instead of a conventional walking stick or umbrella. The grip part is easily separable from the shaft body, and has a grip part body easily gripped with a hand, and a projecting member which vibrates at a prescribed stroke with one end projected from the connected part of the grip body to the shaft body.
