PURPOSE: To provide a walking-type reaper capable of suppressing its weight balance variation along the longitudinal direction of the machine body involved in reaping height regulation, excellent in machine body stability and controllability, designed to allow the balance weight to move in the same direction as the longitudinal movement of the reaper involved in wheel shaking.

CONSTITUTION: This walking-type reaper is designed to enable reaping height to be regulated through the vertical shaking regulation, around the transverse shaft center P1 of wheels 9 relatively to a traveling machine body 1 and allow the balance weight 21 to move in the same direction as the longitudinal movement of the reaper involved in the shaking of the wheels 9 interlockingly with the shaking regulation of the wheels 9. It is preferable that the balance weight be pivoted swingably around a transverse shaft center P4 relatively to the traveling machine body 1 and designed to move in the same direction as the longitudinal movement of the reaper involved in the shaking of the wheels 9 owing to interlocking shaking in the reverse turning direction to the wheels 9.
