To provide a walking type snowplow suitably stopped during backward travel and having excellent operability of an operating lever.
In this walking type snowplow 10, a connecting member 75 is provided with a backward travel restraining plate 88 to make the backward travel restraining plate 88 swingable around the connecting member 75 used as a shaft, and the backward travel restraining plate 88 is provided with a guide groove 89 of arcuate shape. A front end part 86b of a connecting rod 86 is slidably connected to the guide groove 89, and a rear end part 86a of the connecting rod 86 is connected to a backward travel restraining bar 31. In such a walking type snowplow 10, when the backward travel restraining bar 31 moves forward in the backward traveling state, a front end part 89a of the guide groove 89 is pressed by the front end part 86b of the connecting rod 86 to switch over to a neutral state from the backward traveling state.
