Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent siphonic phenomenon that is caused by the temporary stoppage of a drainage pump.
SOLUTION: A double check valve device 23 and an exhaust duct 36 communicate with each other by a hose 37 for a siphon breaker. One end of this hose 37 is connected to the attaching hole of the double check valve device 23 through a connecting cheese, and the other end is connected to a connecting port formed in the exhaust duct. Siphonic phenomenon is prevented, even with the temporary stoppage of a pump during a draining operation by a drainage pump 18 or an overflow pump 20, because the outside air is taken into the double check valve device 23 through the exhaust duct 36 and the siphon breaker hose 37.
