PURPOSE: To provide a washer which easily copes with the difference in height of a top plate of a piece of tablelike furniture and is installed in tablelike furniture in a built-in state by simple work.

CONSTITUTION: A washing vessel 30 having an opening 2 is arranged on a base plate 28, and is provided with a washing nozzle 41 for jetting washing water. An elevating/lowering mechanism 63 for vertically moving the washing vessel 30 is installed on the base plate 28. A washer is brought into a tablelike furniture with the washing vessel 30 lowered, and the washing vessel 30 is moved to a position corresponding to the top plate of the piece of tablelike furniture by the elevating/lowering mechanism 63. Therefore, the washing vessel is easily elevated, and installing work of the washer in a prescribed position in the tablelike furniture is simplified. By lowering the washing vessel to reduce the height of the washer on shipment, the packing form is made small to lower packing cost and transportation cost.
