PURPOSE: To wash a contact lens and to sterilize it at a high temperature by incorporating an oscillation circuit member having an ultrasonic oscillation circuit which supplies the output to an oscillator in a washer body and providing a heater, to which power supply is automatically stopped after a certain time, under the washing vessel.

CONSTITUTION: When a contact lens 6 is put in a washing vessel 5, it is held in a cylindrical holding part of a storage case 8 and is covered with a cap P. Washing liquid is charged in the washing vessel 5 until the storage case 8 is completely sunk in the washing liquid; and after washing, a timer switch 7 is switched to the side of a heater 9 to supply power to the heater 9 attached to the outside wall of the washing vessel 5 to raise the temperature of the washing liquid to boil and sterilize the contact lens 6. Since power supply to the heater 9 is automatically stopped after boiling for a certain time, the contact lens is prevented from being damaged by heating without liquid. Thus, the contact lens is surely washed in a short time by ultrasonic waves.
