Abstract:
To improve working efficiency of a washing machine.
Power of a driving motor 45 is transmitted selectively to a washing blade 44 or a washing and dehydration tub 43 by a power transmission clutch 49, the rotation of the washing and dehydration tub 44 is restrained or released by a brake 70. One stage driving of a two-stage gear motor 61 interlocks the brake 70 and a clutch 49 rotates the washing and dehydration tub 44 for execution of washing/rinsing with a drainage assembly remaining unable to drain water. When the gear motor 61 drives in two stages, the drainage assembly performs drainage, the washing and dehydration tub 44 is rotated and the dehydration process is carried out.
