Title:
WASHING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010012086
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent water in a water suction pump from being fed from a priming water suction port to a feed water valve side as much as possible when the water suction pump is operated.

When the water suction pump 18 is operated, water in a bathtub outside the washing machine is sucked into the water suction pump 18 from a suction port 40 via a water suction hose, and the sucked water is discharged from a pump chamber 37 into an ejection chamber 44 to be ejected from an outlet 45 to a tub side. At the time, the priming water suction port 46 also communicates with the ejection chamber 44, but the priming water suction port 46 is located higher than the upper end 45a of the outlet 45 and therefore, water ejected from the pump chamber 37 into the ejection chamber 44 is hardly ejected from the priming water suction port 46. Accordingly, feeding of water on the suction pump 18 side to the feed-water valve side from the priming water suction port 46 can be prevented as much as possible.
