Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten water supply time so as to reduce washing time by supply water while a drum is rotated, repeating the operation of stopping the supply of water when a first preset water level is reached and restarting the supply of water when a second preset water level lower than the above is reached, and changing one of the first and second preset water levels in the lapse of designated time.
SOLUTION: The operation of supply water while a drum is rotated, stopping the supply of water when a first preset water level P11 is reached and restarting the supply of water when a second preset water level P 12 is reached is repeated. In the lapse of designated time T1, the first preset water level P11 is changed to the level P12, and in the lapse of designated time T2, the first preset water level P21 is changed to the level P31, and the second preset water level P12 is changed to the level P22, whereby water supplied to the first preset water levels P11, P21, P31 gradually soaks into washing by rotation of the drum, and when the water level in the water receiving tub reaches the second preset water levels P12, P22, the supply of water is restarted to supply water, so that water is let soak into washing gradually. Further, the quantity of water first supplied can be increased, and the number of times of repeating the supply of water can be decreased.
