PURPOSE: To enable reutilization of contaminated sand accumulating in a temporary receiver for night soil by sucking the sand through a suction pipe passage to remove automatically and elimate accumulation of the sand and washing the sucked sand in a sand washer to attain recovery of sand.
CONSTITUTION: A vacuum tank 3 is provided to an end of a suction pipe passage 2 for contaminated sand connected to the bottom of a temporary receiver 1 of night soil. A discharging pipe passage 4 is connected to the tank 3, and a storage tank 5 of the contaminated sand is further provided to the discharging pipe passage 4. The storage tank 5 is further connected to a rotary drum type sand washer 8 provided with a transfer mechanism 7 with divisional reversing and falling function through a control feeding passage 6 below the tank 5. By this constitution, accumulation of contaminated sand in the temporary receiver is automatically eliminated by sucking the sand through the suction pipe passage, and the sand is washed simultaneously by the sand washer and recovered for reutilization.
