Abstract:
To provide a waste treatment plant and a waste treatment method capable of simplifying treatment steps to suppress energy costs.SOLUTION: A waste treatment plant is configured to: mix a waste 1 with a bulk density adjusting material 2 that increases volume and a microorganism adhering material 3 attached with aerobic microorganisms, and apply a load to generate a bulk density-adjusted aerobic fermentation treatment object material 100; subject the aerobic fermentation treatment object material 100 to aerobic fermentation and drying; remove noncombustible matters 230 and vinyl chloride 240 from an aerobic fermentation dried material 200 made from the aerobic fermentation treatment object material through the aerobic fermentation and the drying, and sort out a solid fuel raw material 210 and/or a compost raw material 220 in a post-treatment facility provided in the waste treatment plant. In a bulk density adjustment operation, the aerobic fermentation treatment object material 100 with bulk density adjusted to be 0.4 kg/m3 or more and 0.6 kg/m3 or less when a load of 2000 kg/m2 is applied, is subjected to the aerobic fermentation and drying in an aerobic fermentation drying apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
