Title:
WASTE TREATMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3683025
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely seal in various kinds of harmful metals in waste incineration fly ash that is finally treated wastes to stabilize them so as not to be reeluted.
SOLUTION: In a waste gas treating device of waste incineration equipment, waste gas is treated with a waste gas treating material consisting essentially of slaked lime and magnesium hydroxide. Smoke dust generated from the waste gas is collected as fly ash by a dust collector. The fly ash is mixed and kneaded with a harmful metal stabilizer consisting essentially of one or more selected from a group consisting of cements, neutralizers such as aluminum hydroxide, inorganic adsorbents such as powdery aluminum silicate and powdery silicon dioxide, chelating agents such as dimethyldithiocarbamate, diethyldithiocarbamate, dibutyldithiocarbamate and tannate, water glass, phosphate such as water soluble sodium phosphate, and compounds which are reacted with harmful metals such as Pb to form slightly soluble or insoluble compounds, if necessary, water being added.
