PURPOSE: To enable temporary firing of a ceramic molded material together with a mold, by constituting the mold of a ceramic temporary fired material having laminated structure in a state of a concentric circle of an intermediate layer having honeycomb structure, an inside layer having fine permeating holes covering an inner circumferential surface of the intermediate layer and an outside layer of a reinforcing layer surrounding an outside circumferential surface of the intermediate layer.
CONSTITUTION: Ceramic slurry is modeled on the inner circumferential surface of a gypsum mold 10 and made into an outside modeled layer (c) under the turning motion of a gypsum mold 10 having a horizontal shaft center for its rotary center. Then the ceramic slurry to which a foaming agent is added is modeled on the inner circumferential surface of the modeled layer (c) which is made into an intermediate modeled layer (b) having honeycomb structure and its inner circumferential surface is made into an inside modeled layer (a) by modeling the ceramic slurry on its inner circumferential surface. With this construction, a molded material having laminated structure in a state of concentric circle of three layer (a), (b), (c) is formed. After drying and degreasing of the molded material, temporary firing treatment is performed and a water absorbing mold 10 for cast molding is obtained.
