Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the title compsn. which is useful for a felt pen or in designing as a drawing ink usable with a brush. a pen, or an air brush, can be used in writing not only on an absorbent surface but also on a nonabsorbent surface, and has a water resistance equivalent to that of an oil-base ink compsn. contg. a conventional pigment as a colorant.
CONSTITUTION: The title compsn. contains water as a solvent, a high-acid-value styrene resin having a mol.wt. of 1,500-30,000 and an acid value of 150-300, and a basic dye, and has a pH adjusted to 6-8.5 at normal temp. with a volatile alkaline susbstance, pref. aq. ammonia.
