Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a new type of water-based manicuring agents which can replace existing manicuring agents dispersed in an organic sol-vent because of their high gloss, adhesion to nails, resistance to water, strength of coated films with no flammability and solvent odor.
CONSTITUTION: This manicuring agent contains two polymers of less than 40,000 weight-average molecular weight and of more than 50,000 weight-average molecular weight so that the total amount may reach 5 to 60wt.% in the solid basis in the form of a water-based polymer emulsion.
