Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyurethane emulsion that gives coat film having excellent stability and resistance to solvents and the like.
SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a polyurethane emulsion prepared by reaction of a polyurethane prepolymer bearing isocyanate groups in the molecular with (a) a vinyl alcohol polymer bearing at least one selected from among amino groups, primary hydroxy groups and acetoacetyl groups and (b) a low molecular weight compound bearing amino groups or hydroxy groups in the molecule in the aqueous medium and (B) at least one kind of water-based emulsion selected from among vinyl acetate resin emulsion, (meth) acrylate emulsion and diene resin emulsion.
