Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairable water cooling jacket having long service life by padding a part on the water cooling jacket structure coming in contact with matte, white matte or slag, with an Ni base metal.
SOLUTION: In the water cooling jacket structure 2 used to take out the matte, white matte or slag produced in a copper smelting from a copper smelting furnace or charge into the copper smelting furnace, the part coming in contact with the matte, white matte or slag is padded with Ni or Ni alloy to arrange the padded part 1. By this constitution, the service life of the water cooling jacket is prolonged to ≥2 times and also, the reuse by the repair can be executed, and it is unnecessary to dispose the jacket body caused by the partial defect.
