To obtain a photosensitive resin compsn. having good deveroping property with water and excellent resistance against flexographic ink, printing durability and storage stability for a long time by adding a surfactant and a specified thermoplastic elastomer having resistance against flexographic ink into a photosensitive resin compsn.

This compsn. contains (A) a sulfonate group-contg. polyurethane which is synthesized from (a) a diol selected from sulfonate group-contg. polyamide diols and sulfonate group-contg. polyester diols, (b) dihydroxyhydrocarbons having 400 to 4000 number average mol.wt., and (c) diisocyanate, (B) a thermoplastic polymer, (C) a surfactant, (D) an ethylene type unsatd. compd. and (E) a photopolymn. initiator. The weight ratio of the component (B) to the component (A) is 10/100 to 300/100, the weight ratio of the component (C) to the sum of components (A) and (B) is 1/100 to 10/100, and the weight ratio of the component (E) to the sum of (A) and (B) is 0.1/100 to 30/100.
