Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution and to attain cost reduction by deriving the present flow rate by a characteristic based on the opening of a porous variable orifice valve, and differential pressure across this valve. CONSTITUTION:A duct 1 is provided with a porous variable orifice valve 4, provided with a differential pressure sensor 5 for detecting differential pressure of its upstream side and downstream side in a position being parallel to this valve 4, and also, provided with an opening sensor 6 for detecting this opening on the valve 4. In this state, to a controller 8, signals from the sensor 5, the sensor 6 and a pressure sensor are inputted, and to its opening/closing control output terminal 9, a valve control circuit 11 is connected through a changeover switch 10. In this state, a function value determined by a characteristic of the valve 4 is calculated, based on an opening signal from the sensor 6, and by this result and a differential pressure signal from the sensor 5, the present flow rate is calculated and by executing a control by the circuit 11, the constitution is simplified, and cost reduction can be attained.
