Abstract:
To provide a water proofing method capable of inexpensively and efficiently spraying bentonite without using an organic binder.
The method is by spraying bentonite on the surface of a material to be stuck by ejecting granular bentonite ≤5 wt.% in 2.36 mm screen residual portion, ≤10 wt.% in 250 μm screen pass portion in dry system and ≥10 ml/2 g in swelling power and water or a smectite slurry from separate nozzles and mixing both with each other in a flying space to the material to be stuck and on the surface of the material to be stuck. Water is used by 0.5-1.1 pts.wt. or the smectite slurry is used by 0.4-1.2 pts.wt. per 1 pts.wt. granular bentonite.
