Abstract:
To provide technology allowing a cut-off measure for a soil retaining wall on a reached side to be carried out in minimum hours and with manpower.SOLUTION: A cut-off device 10 installed on a soil retaining wall composed of sheet piles having irregularity on those surfaces is provided with lower frame members 11 secured between flat surfaces of convex parts of the soil retaining wall; a plurality of gap sealing members 24 fitted into gaps between lower frame members 11 and the soil retaining wall; a pair of engaging rails 32 arranged adjacent to a front opening part of the lower frame members 11; a box member 12 slidably engaged between the engaging rails 32 and provided with a receiving space therewithin; a pair of auxiliary shutters 49 slidably engaged to the engaging rails 32 and sealing a gap 48 between the front opening part of the lower frame members 11 and the box member 12, wherein the box member 12 is provided with the front opening part 41 and a main shutter 43 openably sealing the front opening part 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
