Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof fabric excellent in weather resistance and bending resistance, and useful as an outdoor tent or a sheet.
SOLUTION: The waterproof fabric (1) is obtained by forming a resin layer containing (1) 100 pts.wt. of a resin mixture containing a urethane resin and an acrylic resin at a weight ratio of (50-90):(50-10) in terms of solid components, (2) a silicone resin and (3) an aziridine compound, a carbodiimide compound, an oxazoline compound, an isocyanate compound and/or a coupling agent as a crosslinking agent on a fiber base cloth. Or, the waterproof fabric (2) is obtained by forming a skin layer comprising the components same as the above resin layer via an intermediate layer comprising a resin mixture containing a urethane resin and an acrylic resin at a weight ratio of (30:70) to (90:10) in terms of solid components, and a crosslinking agent containing the compounds same as the compounds of the above crosslinking agent on a fiber base cloth.
