PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure and A water proof method for a casing capable of improving water proofing property. SOLUTION: A casing 11 wherein an injection part 11D whose inside is hollow is provided on a side wall 11B, insert holes 11C, 11E passing from outside to inside through the injection part 11D, a cord 15 disposed from outside to inside of the casing 11 through the insert holes 11C, 11E, and a resin 17 covering the cord 15 passing the injection part 11D are provided. The cord 15 passes the insert holes 11C, 11E provided in the case 11 and the injection part 11D through a bush 16. Thereby, since the cord 15 is inserted through the injection part 11D and the resin is injected into the injection part 11D when the cord 15 is inserted in the case 11, water can be prevented from entering the case 11 through insert holes 11C, 11E to enhance the water proofing property of the case 11.
