Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a waterproof unit for current transformer being employed in a non-connection illumination system for protecting a clamp type current transformer, installed immediately after placing the concrete stab of a building, against wetting.
CONSTITUTION: The waterproof unit for current transformer comprises two single side members 3 integrally molded of a waterproof synthetic resin and hinged at the central part 2. When two single side members 3 are closed, an inner space for housing a current transformer is defined. Furthermore, holes 4 for loop cable are made closely to the hinge part 2 on the opposite sides thereof and a hole for connection cable is made at the free end each of two single side members 3.
