PURPOSE: To protect the ecosystem for water living things as well as purify the quality of water by a method in which an L-shaped second block with water-passing parts is provided in front of an L-shaped first block with water- permeable parts.
CONSTITUTION: An L-shaped first block 1 consisting of a retaining wall 1a with a water-permeable part 1c and a bottom plate 1b is provided and an L- shaped second block 2 consisting of a vegetating wall 2a with a water-passing part 2c and a bottom plate 2b is provided in front of the waterway of the block 1. Also, a third L-shaped block 3 consisting of a living things-protecting wall with holes 3c through which living things in water pass and a bottom plate 3b may be provided in front of the blocks 1 and 2. Also, the water-passing part 2 of the block 2 may be converted to the hole through which living things such as fish can pass, and a surrounding wall may be provided for the portion surrounded by the wall 1a and the bottom 1b of the block 1 and the vegetating wall 2a of the block 2. The living place for water living things can thus be obtained.
