To provide a wave emission center estimation device and a wave emission center estimation method in which accuracy for estimating a position of a radio wave emission center can be improved.
A wave emission center estimation device comprises: an antenna unit 10 having a plurality of antenna elements arranged in a matrix; a receiving unit 20 for sequentially switching received output of the antenna elements and deriving each received output; a signal processing unit 40 for calculating each arrival direction of radio waves using the output from the receiving unit 20, and outputting each estimated point P corresponding to the arrival directions in a two-dimensional image. The signal processing unit 40 includes mesh means which divides target region A1 in the two-dimensional image into a plurality of meshes AR1 and specifies a target mesh A2 in which density of the estimated points P in the mesh AR1 exceeds a prescribed reference value.
