Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance power generation efficiency by increasing the amount of power generation by a power generation means.SOLUTION: A vertically long slit 2 is formed in a penetrating manner in a wall body 1. A water wheel 3 rotated by waves passing through the slit 2 is installed in the slit 2. A rotating shaft part 4 of the water wheel 3 is provided along a longitudinal center line of the slit 2. The rotating shaft part 4 of the water wheel 3 is connected to a generator 14 to convert rotation energy of the water wheel 3 to electric energy. Since the waves passing through the slit 2 rotate the water wheel 3 at a high speed by undergoing a speed-increasing action brought about by the slit 2, power generation efficiency can be enhanced accordingly.
