Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the radiation characteristics in a waveguide feed patch array antenna.SOLUTION: An antenna device 100 has a waveguide 10 having closed opposite ends, a dielectric layer 21 arranged on the upper surface 10a of the waveguide 10, an element antenna including a plurality of patch elements 20a-20f and feeding pins 22 arranged on the dielectric layer 21, and a feeding probe 30 provided in the center of a lower surface 10b facing the upper surface 10a. The feeding pins 22 are connected to positions offset from the center of the reverse side of the patch elements 20a-20f, and elongating into the waveguide 10 by penetrating one side of the dielectric layer 21. The patch elements 20a-20f are arranged in the waveguide direction of the waveguide 10, at such positions that the currents flow through the patch elements 20a-20f in the same direction.
