To provide a web processing line for effectively preventing the deposition of the cutting chips of sheet materials such as lithographic printing forms on the surface of a side stopper of a stacker, and also to provide a sheet stacking line and a sheet stacking method.
The web processing line comprises: a slitting means for slitting a web material being carried in a fixed carrying direction at a predetermined width; a cutting means for cutting the web material slitted into the predetermined width by the slitting means, in the direction perpendicular to the carrying direction; the stacker for stacking the sheet materials cut by the cutting means; and a lubricant applying means for applying volatile lubricant to the edge of the web material slit by the slitting means or the edges of the sheet materials along the carrying direction. The lubricant applying means is provided on the upstream side of the stacker in the carrying direction. The sheet stacking line and the sheet stacking method are also provided.
