To provide a liquid weight measuring method which can measure the weight of minute liquid injected from an injection member accurately and in a short time and its weight measuring device.
A weight measuring device is provided with a head 11 where a nozzle 16 for injecting an ink liquid drop from the inside of a liquid chamber 14 is formed; a measuring tank 22 which is connected to the head 11 through a tube 24 and supplies the ink into the liquid chamber 14; and an electronic balance 23 for measuring the weight of only the measuring tank 22. In a state where the ink sufficient for starting the ink injection from the nozzle 16 is supplied from the measuring tank 22 into the liquid chamber 14, after measuring the weight of only the measuring tank 22, the ink is injected as much as a specified quantity from the head 11, and then the weight of only the measuring tank 22 is measured to measure the weight of the ink injected from the head 11.
