Abstract:
To provide a welded reinforcing structure capable of compact remote installation to keep structural uniformity of a welded member in the case of a weld crack.
The welded reinforcing structure 10 includes a pocket 20 having a substantially dog bone-shaped pocket 20 having laterally widened ends and a contracted middle part 30 extending astride a welding joint. A reinforcing element 18 having a mutually supplementary shape is fitted in the pocket 20. The pocket 20 is provided with a projection 22 which is put in an opening of the reinforcing element 18 to be superposed thereon. A wedge-shaped clamp 23 holder is fitted to the periphery of the projection 22 in the opening to fix the element in the pocket.
