Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welded structure which stops propagation of a brittle crack, and is structured to stop the propagation of the brittle crack by simple work without using a high-cost arrestor material high in alloy before resulting in large-scale breakage even when the brittle crack should occur.SOLUTION: The welded structure includes a joining plate 2 which is formed by jointing two metal plates 2a to each other by welding, and a joining object plate 4 which is joined to the joining plate 2 by welding, wherein the welded joint part 6 between the two metal plates 2a faces to the joining object plate 4 and extends to the vicinity of the joining position between the joining plate 2 and the joining object plate 4. The welded structure is composed such that the welded joint part 6 does not contact the joining object plate 4 in the direction that the welded joint part 6 faces to the joining object plate 4, and no welding part which joints the joining plate 2 to the joining object plate 4 exists between the welded joint part 6 and the joining object plate 4.
