Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the welding method hard to generate incomplete penetration in automatically welding the horizontal welding joint in which horizontal groove is formed between flat plate and vertical plate.
CONSTITUTION: The welding method is that (1) to manipulate electrode from a flat plate 1 toward a vertical plate 2, (2) to manipulate electrode from a vertical plate 2 toward a flat plate 1 and to repeat (1) and (2). In particular, a width H of weaving is set to in the range of ±2mm for a root gap L of groove, incomplete penetration at the root parts (B point or C point) is reduced.
