Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of welding beads and welding traces on the surface of a first panel-shaped member in the case of welding a structure consisting of the first panel-shaped member and a second panel-shaped member located on the rear side of this first panel-shaped member.
CONSTITUTION: A tongue 12 is formed in advance on the tip of an end 11 of an outer panel 10 and when the end 11 of the outer panel 10 is bent, the tip lower surface 13 of the tongue 12 is abutted on a corner part 22a of a stepping part 22 provided on an inner panel 20. Welding is then performed in a state with the tip 14 of the tongue 12 and the upper surface 22b of the stepped part 22 covered with welding metal 30.
