To provide a welding torch which, when the welding torch is used while an outer peripheral part of an insulating member 11 of a torch body 20 is clamped by a welding torch mounting part 30 of an automatic welding machine 3, prevents idle running of the torch body 20 with respect to the welding torch mounting part 30, thereby preventing deviation in targeting welding position.
The welding torch 1 includes the torch body 20 which includes a tubular electrically conductive member 50 and the insulating member 11 which covers the outer peripheral part of the tubular electrically conductive member 50, wherein a power feeding member 13 is connected to the proximal end of the torch body and a contact chip 14 is connected to the other end. In the welding torch 1, the outer peripheral part of the tubular electrically conductive member 50 is formed into a rough surface, so that when the torch is used while the outer peripheral part of the insulating member 11 is clamped by the torch mounting part 30 of the automatic welding machine 3, the idle running of the tubular electrically conductive member 50 with respect to the welding torch mounting part 30 is prevented, and as a result, the deviation in targeting the welding position is prevented.
