Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel washing device for an automobile devised to wash a wheel side surface by pressing a wheel washing brush on the wheel side surface of the automobile while rotating the wheel washing brush and capable of cleanly washing a deep inner part of the aluminum wheel with spokes.
SOLUTION: The wheel washing brush 13 has a long brush group 23 and a short brush group 24 alternately mounted in the rotating direction. The wheel side surface is washed by pressing the wheel washing brush 13 on a side surface of a wheel W by a movable driving device while repeatedly and reciprocatively rotating it by a repeated reciprocative rotating driving device 31. The wheel washing brush is provided with the repeated reciprocative rotating driving device to repeatedly and reciprocatively drive it and it is repeatedly and reciprocatively rotated by the repeated reciprocative rotating driving device when the wheel washing brush is pressed on the wheel by the movable driving device, and consequently, brush bristles enter the deep inner part of the wheel, and it is possible to efficiently and cleanly wash the wheel to its deep inner part.
