The elevator auxiliary means 16 has a hold member 26 circulating along the elevation direction X of a stairway 20. The wheelchair carrier means 17 is installed from a lower layer floor 18 to an upper layer floor 19 to load and carry a wheelchair 21. Accordingly, a wheelchair user 22 can move up by holding the hold member 26 of the elevation auxiliary means 16 when the wheelchair user is carried by the wheelchair carrier means 17.
